Getting to the dropzone without a car....

Your options for getting to Langar are (this may need to be heavily edited by someone that has done this recently!!!) ......

1a) Get the bus to Nottingham...

The new route that goes from ashby road to notts
(Get off near the train station or broadmarsh bus station)

1b) Get the train to nottingham from loughborough station.

2a) Get the bus to Langar village

Walk from either the train station or the bus station to this bus stop: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... ,-1.147441

Catch the number 22 to Langar, timetable is here: http://www.trentbuses.co.uk/timetables/ ... arton.html

Then walk from Langar village to the airfield or speak nicely to someone at the airfield: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... 7&t=h&z=14

2b) Alternatively, you can catch the train from Loughborough to Nottingham and then Nottingham to Bingham, but this gets a bit more difficult to get to Langar from.
